Day 1: Paris, FranceWelcome to Paris! Upon arrival at Paris Airport you will be welcomed to France by your English-speaking driver and transferred to your hotel. Your driver will also be on hand to assist you with check-in procedures. You will be confirmed at the Sofitel Le Faubourg for three nights including full breakfast. The Hotel Sofitel Le Faubourg: Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is located in the luxurious 8th arrondissement, close to the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre. The hotel is housed in two 18th and 19th century buildings in the historical and diplomatic area of Paris near the Jardin des Tuileries and Rue de Faubourg Saint Honore, famous for its boutiques. Situated on the Right Bank of the Seine, the hotel serves as an ideal location for exploring or as a luxury retreat in the heart of this bustling city. The hotel has 172 rooms including 25 suites. All rooms are decorated in an elegant French style and designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon using the finest materials. The rooms feature MyBed signature bedding, providing a unique experience of comfort and well-being. All rooms are equipped with modern technology such as flat screen TV’s, CD player and Wi-Fi connection. Luxury Hermes toiletries and minibars are available in each room. Jerome Videau’s cooking embraces simplicity, authenticity, and tradition, though he is quick to re-interpret French classics. During the summer, you can sit in the stylish courtyard. This afternoon you will be met by your English-speaking driver and guide for a half-day (3 hours) sightseeing tour of Paris. Visit the Marais, one of Paris’s most historic districts. This area houses many former residences pf aristocratic families, which have now been restored and are now museums. You will see the Place des Vosges, lined with pink brick and covered arcades. Continue to the Ile de la Cite where you will visit the Sainte Chapelle, a pearl of Gothic architecture. Optional: In the evening, meet your English-speaking driver to depart for the legendary Parisian “Cabaret”- Moulin Rouge. (Not included in the tour price). Since 1889, the Moulin Rouge, famous worldwide thanks to its French Cancan, and immortalized by the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, has always presented sumptuous shows. Today the Moulin Rouge’s new show “Feeire” continues the tradition.
Sofitel Le Faubourg Day 2: Paris- Versailles- Paris
After breakfast at the hotel, meet your private vehicle and English-speaking guide for a cultural half-day in Versailles. …One of the largest castles in the world, we leave Paris via the western highway and arrive at the residential town of Versailles which for almost 100 years was the capital of France between the 17th and 18th centuries. Here, you will visit the state apartments and decorative gardens. Admire the famous “Hall of Mirrors”, once the center of the French court and later the scene of the signing of the peace treaty ending the First World War. The small hunting lodge that had been built for Louis XIII was converted by his son Louis XIV into the grandiose Palace that we visit today. The great names of the French Classic period Le Vau, Le Brun and Le Notre united together to design this masterpiece, which was terminated during the reign of Louis XV by Jules Hardouin-Mansart with his fabulous Hall of Mirrors, scene of the signing of the 1919 peace treaty ending the First World War. The reign of Versailles ended when the people of Paris came to fetch the young king Louis XVI and his queen Marie-Antoinette to face the terror of the French Revolution. View part of the immense park and gardens that surround the castle. After your visit to this remarkable place, return to Paris, where lunch, dinner and the evening are at your leisure.

Sofitel Le Faubourg Day 3: Paris
This morning visit the world famous Louvre Museum with your guide and private vehicle. The Louvre is housed in a magnificent building, which was originally built for use as a royal palace for King Francis I. A large glass, steel rod and cable pyramid designed by American architect I.M. Pei now covers the main entrance. It is home to one of the most important art collections in the western world, spanning the period from remotest antiquity, through to about 1850. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to the hotel where the remainder of the day will be at your leisure. Optional: In the evening, enjoy a Seine River Dinner Cruise with the Bateaux Parisiens. (Not included in the tour price). The boat cruise on the Seine River is the most pleasant way to discover the city as the sights unfold on either bank of the river, while you enjoy an excellent dinner. Leaving at 8:30pm from the foot of the Eiffel Tower, you will be back about 10:45pm. Admire the most exquisite architecture and all the historical places along the waterways such as the Palais Chaillot, Place de la Concorde, Assemblee Nationale, Musee d’Orsay, Louvre Palace, Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ile St Louis, Palais de Justice, the Conciergerie, to name a few. The dinner cruise is accompanied by live musical entertainment.
