Option #1 - Marlin Lodge on Benguerua IslandThe Marlin Lodge is situated on the southwest shore of Benguerua Island, the second largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique. This unspoiled area offers some of the finest scuba diving sites and some of the best deep-sea fishing in the world. Marlin's 19 En-Suite Chalets stretch along the beach of Flamingo Bay. Each sea-facing chalet has a private patio with a walkway down to the sandy white beach. The wood-reed-and-thatch chalets are a blend of elegance and African Island beauty.
Decorated with a hue of creams, browns, and slight blues, the chalets reflect luxury and essential comfort. Drift into a slumber listening to the lap of waves and the breath of trade winds in the palms. The Marlin Classic Chalets all have a roof fan and new mosquito netting, with an en-suite bathroom. The roof is thatch and the walls are cladded with Mozambican reed, and are all west facing, towards the sunset. Each Chalet has its own balcony with deck chairs as well as direct access to the beach in front of the room. Maximum of two guests per chalet. Selected classic chalets share a balcony. Marlin Lodge cuisine is a colorful and exotic delight... Venues vary from, semi-formal in the open air dining room, to the exquisite beach, for a once in a life time "dining under the stars" Our freshwater pool is set in a glade of Coconut and Ilala palms. Upon occasion lunch is served here which creates an original African Island setting. Option #2 - Indigo Bay Island Resort & Spa on Bazaruto Island
Indigo Bay Island Resort & Spa is considered to be the top Island resort in Mozambique. The resort is ocated on Bazaruto Island which is the largest islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago and it is part of the National Park, one of the largest conservation areas in the Indian Ocean. The Beach Chalets are complete with en-suite bathroom (separate indoor shower and recessed sea-facing oval bath), an outdoor shower, king size extra length beds, dressing room area, verandah, open plan living area, mosquito screens, central air-conditioning with adjustable temperature setting in main room and bathroom, mini bar, satellite TV, electronic safe, international plugs, hairdryer and a tea / coffee station. Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01: VILANCULOS, MOZAMBIQUE – BENGUERUA ISLANDArrive Vilanculos International Airport. Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you are met by a lodge representative for road transfer to the Donna Anna jetty via shuttle basis (10 minutes one way.)
Guests will have to identify luggage before it is loaded on the vehicle and boats. Board the next departing boat for Benguerua Island (approximately 30 minutes.)
Welcome drink and check-in. Enjoy dinner at the lodge and evening at leisure.

Day 02 - 04: BENGUERUA ISLAND
Breakfast and dinner at the lodge. Spend days at leisure or book optional excursions (own account) offered by the lodge.
Activities from the lodge: spa treatments, sundowner cruises, Deep-sea fishing, game fishing (marlin and sailfish), surfcasting, saltwater fly-fishing, scuba, snorkeling, Pansy Island sports, Aquarium adventure, island drives, Dhow sailing, visits to Vilanculos and day trips around the island, wind-surfing, catamaran sailing, kite-flying, ocean ski-paddling, water-skiing, parasailing, knee-boarding and water-snaking.
