We've been to the top of mountains, to the bottom of seas, and to the ends of the earth. We are adventure seekers, conservationists, enthusiasts, and educators. We've banded together with the common goal of marrying our passion for adventure and experiential travel with our expertise to deliver the most useful and convenient resource for researching and booking your next vacation.
Todd McClamroch
Chief Executive Officer
Todd spent a year as the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer at iExplore, working closely with iExplore founder George Deeb. Todd recently rose to the role of CEO and looks forward to continuing the successes of iExplore. He brings to this role a deep knowledge of interactive marketing and strategy and years of travel experience at both iExplore & United Airlines. Outside of travel Todd has developed interactive strategies for Procter & Gamble, Valvoline, GM and several other Fortune 500 brands.
Todd’s parents shared with him the joys of traveling at a young age with many hours logged in the family truckster. The excitement of seeing and learning something new has continued to inspire him to travel. His favorite travel experiences include dancing in Carnival in Rio, watching Aussie Rules Football in Sydney & Melbourne, kayaking the Kenai Fjords in Alaska and walking the history-rich avenues of many European and South American cities.
Todd is looking forward to his next adventure which will take him to Antarctica later this year.
Steve Ash
Chief Financial Officer
Steve joined iExplore in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources functions. Steve enjoys wearing many hats and covering different areas of responsibility throughout the day. After spending many years in banking, at Citigroup and JP Morgan Chase, Steve had a short turn as Controller for a small student loan company. This last experience was great, he says, as it introduced him to the fun and challenges of working at a smaller company such as iExplore.
Steve’s travels have been less extensive than his dreams! He has traveled frequently to the beaches of the Caribbean, the mountains of Western Canada and spent several winter vacations avoiding crowds in Europe. “No crowds,” he says, “but you can’t count on the weather!”
Harley Schachter
Director, Ad Sales
Harley joined our team in 2007 and is responsible for growing demand for our online media products by increasing sales and driving business development opportunities. Prior to iExplore, Harley spent four years serving as Vice President of Sales at iHispano.com, where he successfully built a strategic partnership with Monster. Harley earned his MBA from DePaul University, concentrating in Marketing & Finance and his BS from Michigan State University.
His adventure-travel experiences include skiing the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain, scuba diving off the coast in Costa Rica and trekking in Thailand. These days, Harley prefers a more low-key approach such as golfing, cooking, reading and spending time with his kids.
